Discover Jonesborough

Jonesborough is the oldest town in Tennessee. It is historically well preserved and offers many unique shops and buildings. Jonesborough is considered to be the Storytelling Capital of the World. Arts predominate with the newly restored Jackson Theatre, the Jonesborough Repertory Theatre, Music on the Square every Friday night during the summer, Brews and Tunes on Sunday and McKinney Center of the Arts.

Museums include the Historic Chester Inn and Museum, the Chuckey Depot Railroad Museum and a historic cemetery dating back to 1803.

There are several parks to explore along easily traveled walkways. Storytelling performances and town tours are usually available throughout the year.
